Edit a Teams Recorded Video

  1. To trim the video, edit details, and change permissions, from within the Teams channel on the Posts tab, find the desired meeting video, click the More options menu, and choose Open in Microsoft Stream.

  2. To trim the video beginning or end, from the More actions menu, select Trim video.

  3. Adjust the start and end-points as desired, click the Apply button, and click Continue.
  4. To change the video name, description, or permissions, from the More actions menu, select Update video details.

  5. Make any desired changes to the Name, Description, or Thumbnail.
  6. In the Permissions section, change who can see the video based on the desired audience.
    1. ENTIRE MSU COMMUNITY: Place a check in the box next to Allow everyone in your company to view this video.
    2. MSU IT: In the Share with > People section, search for and select MSU IT Communications.
    3. GROUPS: In the Share with > My groups section, search for and select the desired group.
    4. INDIVIDUALS: In the Share with > People section, search for and select the desired person.
    5. To remove the video from a Teams group or person, in the Viewers section, click the X next to the desired group.

  1. Once all desired changes have been made, click the Apply button near the top.
